Daylight saving dose planner
When the clocks change, a dose at the same clock time comes an hour early or late. See the gap, or spread the change over a few days.
Runs in your browser. Nothing you type leaves this page and nothing is saved.
Whether an hour matters depends on the medication. If yours needs exact timing, ask your pharmacist which way to change.
Arithmetic only, not medical advice. Your doctor or pharmacist sets your doses.
What actually changes
When the clocks go forward, a dose at the same clock time comes an hour sooner than it would have, so that one gap between doses is 23 hours. When they go back, the gap is 25 hours. After that day, every gap is 24 hours again.
Spreading the change moves your dose a little each day instead. Over four days, each gap is 15 minutes shorter or longer than usual, and by the last day you are back at your usual clock time. Clocks change in the early hours of the morning, so if you take a dose between midnight and 3 am, check the times carefully that night.
The date is filled in from this device's time zone. Planning for somewhere else? Change it to the date the clocks change there.
Reminders that follow the clock
Cadence reminders are set to clock times, so when daylight saving starts or ends they move with the clock on your phone. You do not need to change anything unless you want to shift a dose gradually.
