Time zone dose planner

Flying somewhere with a different clock? See when your usual doses fall in local time, and what changes if you switch to local time instead.

Daylight saving can change the difference, so pick a day of your trip.
Your dose times at home

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type leaves this page and nothing is saved.

If your medication is time-critical, ask your doctor or pharmacist how to handle a long trip before you travel.

Arithmetic only, not medical advice. Your doctor or pharmacist sets your doses.

Two ways to handle a new time zone

Keep home time. You take each dose at the same moment as you would at home. The gap between doses never changes, but the local clock may say 3 am.

Switch to local time. You take doses at your usual clock times wherever you are. It fits your day better, but the first dose after you switch comes earlier or later than usual by the time difference.

Which suits you depends on the medication and the length of the trip. That is a question for your doctor or pharmacist.

Cadence handles either

When you land somewhere new, Cadence asks which clock your medication should follow. Move to local time, or keep a home schedule so the gap between doses stays the same. You can also set it before you fly, in Settings, under Reminders, then Travel.
