How it works
Units per dose times doses per day gives what you use on a day you take it. The packs divided by that gives the number of dose days. If you only take it on some days, those dose days are spread across the calendar, so the pack lasts longer.
For something taken only as needed, there is no fixed answer. Use your usual week as a guide and check again if that changes.
