Taper schedule planner

Your doctor gave you a plan to step a dose down or up. Enter the steps exactly as given and get the dates for each one, ready to print.

Only enter the plan your doctor gave you. Do not change, speed up or stop a medication on your own. If a step does not feel right, talk to your doctor before the next one.
Steps, in order
The steps shown are an example only. Replace them with your own plan.

Runs in your browser. Nothing you type leaves this page and nothing is saved.

This lays out dates for a plan you enter. It does not suggest doses and is not medical advice.

How it works

Each step starts the day after the one before it ends. The first step starts on the date you pick. For each step, the dose times the times a day gives what you take each day, and that times the number of days gives the step total. Add up the totals to see how much you need for the whole plan.

Plans sometimes change partway through. If your doctor changes a step, update it here and print a new copy, so the dates on your fridge match what you were told.
